Alanna Freeman is a British artist and writer, who blends visual and written language... and who can't take talking about herself in the third person seriously.
Drawing inspiration from daily life, current affairs, travels and things that often get overlooked (or are hidden in plain sight), I aspire to create images – visual and linguistic – that make other people pause, reflect or smile.
A deep affinity for colour and texture is at the heart of my creative work, often providing the starting point or backdrop for free-flowing, story-driven images, stop-motion animations and even written work.
As well as more than 14 years' experience writing, editing and creating content for a number of well-known brands and publications (both print and digital) I have been commissioned to create visuals for editorial, branding and private projects.
